in.fondo.al.mar mobile leverages on Layar - mobile augmented reality browser - to display on your mobile device the whole list of dumping and sinking cases. Layar works by using a combination of the mobile phone's camera, compass and GPS data to identify the user's location and field of view, retrieve data based on those geographical coordinates, and overlay that data over the camera view.
With in.fondo.al.mar mobile, you can point your mobile camera at the horizon and browse each of the filed cases according to their physical location in the Mediterranean Sea. Furthermore, you can access the information regarding suspicious naval incidents or add more details on cases already available in the project database.

Requirements & Installation

Layar is currently available for Android and iPhone 3GS devices. We recommend a flat-fee data subscription.
Please follow these steps to install and run in.fondo.al.mar mobile.
